Every boat has a story. Some are told by the manufacturer. Others are told by reviewers who spend a few hours aboard at a boat show or on a sea trial.
But the most valuable stories come from the people who actually own them.
Scaling Masts Owner Intelligence was created to bring those stories together in a way that helps buyers and owners make better decisions.
We begin by analyzing publicly available information including professional reviews, owner blogs, forums, videos, technical documentation, and current market data. From there, we identify recurring themes, common questions, and areas where owners consistently agree…or completely disagree.
Then the most important part begins, owners themselves validate the findings.
Throughout every report, owners can agree, disagree, or add context based on their own experience. Every contribution helps improve the report, making it more accurate over time and creating something that simply doesn’t exist anywhere else.
This isn’t another boat review. It’s a living knowledge base built from real-world ownership experience.
How It Works
Step 1 — Research
We analyze hundreds of sources including owner discussions, professional reviews, technical documents, videos, listings, and market data to identify recurring patterns and important questions.
Step 2 — Owner Validation
Boat owners contribute their own experience by responding to short questions throughout each report. Their responses help validate, challenge, or expand upon the initial findings.
Step 3 — Continuous Improvement
Every new owner contribution makes the reports smarter. As more verified owners participate, the reports become increasingly representative of the actual ownership experience rather than isolated opinions.
Our Commitment
We believe there’s an important difference between documented fact, published owner experience, community sentiment, and Scaling Masts owner data.
Whenever possible, we distinguish between them. If something is well established, we’ll say so. If owners disagree, we’ll say that too. If we don’t yet have enough information to draw a conclusion, we’ll tell you exactly what we’re still trying to learn.
The goal isn’t to prove a point. The goal is to help you make a better decision.
