"We love Scott Mayer! We would highly recommend Scott as a buyer side boat agent for his professionalism, knowledge, and the fact that he is not pushy. We flew down from Canada and had the pleasure of spending 2 days with Scott as he showed us inventory all around south Florida. He managed to fit us in around a major boat show commitment and made us feel welcome and valued. Scott made a significant effort to make sure that we saw a number of boats to make the right decision. One boat came close to an offer, but Scott was worried about undersized engines, and he took the time to get one of engine guys from Just Cats on the phone - who agreed with Scott's initial thought.
We did not buy on that trip, but Scott was clear about needing to understand our requirements, preferences and price point so that he could find us the best option. He never tried to push us above the we were comfortable with. We thoroughly enjoyed our two days with Scott - and our sense is that he wants to get to know his clients and deliver a highly personalized service. This is not a sales job type of guy.
